ABOUT LISA GALLEGOS

Lisa Gallegos is a contemporary artist living and working in Northern California.  Lisa paints primarily in acrylic on paper, canvas and mixed media.  She uses texture and vibrant colors to create graphic imagery that sits just outside of reality. A Bay Area native, Lisa’s paintings are inspired by the wildlife, people, places, and personalities that surround her.

Lisa studied studio arts at UCSB and her paintings have been in Bay Area gallery shows including the “TINY” show and the “Delicious” show at Studio Gallery SF, at The Grand Gallery in Oakland and is a featured artist selling at Aiken, an upscale clothing and accessories store on Fourth Street in Berkeley.
